Introduce Aimee

Last month I was struggling to come up with blog topics and then inspiration hit me. With the blessing of Jemma aka Dorkface I joined up with members of The Girl Gang and designed a 30 day blog challenge. Todays topic is: Introduce yourself. Where are you from and what do you love about your home town? Easy, here we go.

Introduce Yourself.

Introduce Aimee

My name is Aimee and I am 26 years old. I currently have long brown hair and I have blue/grey eyes that change with my mood. My career is in retail management and would like to move into safety. I have a baby border collie called Gracie. Gracie is 5 months old and is named after Grace Kelly due to her inevitable princess like treatment. My favourite colour is blue and I have a shopping problem. I own my dream car which is a 2015 Honda Jazz in black, her name is Evangeline.

Where are you from?

Born and bread in Melbourne, Australia. Although I have travelled both overseas and interstate there isn’t really anywhere else that feels like home. I love Melbourne because there is always something new to do or try. I love coffee and burgers, two things that Melbourne does so well. Where I live is in the outer suburbs of Melbourne near the Yarra Ranges. My area is classified as suburbia it is not unusual to see a Kangaroo or Kookaburra about. I can drive 30 minutes and find myself in the city. Or I can drive 30 minutes the other way and find myself in the bush or country side.

I think I love Melbourne as there is so much opportunity for adventure and fun. Each day you can discover something new in an ever changing city. A huge benefit is that our tap water tastes good, Not something most people would care about but there is some awful tap water out there!

Melbourne sounds like an awesome place to be in–another city to add to my bucket list, and this gives me more reason to visit my childhood friend! 🙂

You guys are lucky to have tap water you can drink! 🙂 What does it taste like? Haha just curious! 🙂
